I may ask to see a sample of your work (500–1,000 words) at the quote state. The amount quoted will be tailored to the level of editing required.

My rates for editing are based on the suggested minumum hourly rates set by the Chartered Institute for Editing and Proofreading (CIEP). These are: £30.75 for proofreading, £35.75 for copyediting, and £41.10 for structural editing.
